A dead body is found in a storage area. The victim is a woman in her 20's, who ran a small restaurant. Soon after, a 19-year-old man is arrested for murder and abandonment of corpse. Lawyer Daisaburo Kikuchi, who used to be a judge, takes the young man’s case as his lawyer. The case seems to be clear cut, because the man confessed to the crimes. But, things soon change.
